The politics we should know

In my last blog post I briefly talked about how one should look at the Indian politics. There I wrote that one should have a through background check of their own favourite political parties. But in this post I'm not going to write about the history and background of  various political parties because that would be educating you people . I don't want to educate people  , I want to raise the awareness among the masses. Hopefully I may succeed in that one day but that day is far far away from happening . So today I'm going to talk about how the political parties should be segregated or organised at least in our minds.

Left–right political spectrum

The left–right political spectrum is a system of classifying political positions, ideologies and parties, from equality on the left to social hierarchy on the right. Left-wing and right-wing politics are often seen opposed. Although a particular individual or group may take a left-wing stance on one matter and a right-wing stance on another; and some stances may overlap and be considered either left- or right-wing depending on the ideology. This is the general method of looking at the political parties all over the world. But when it comes to the Indian politics the scene is not the same.

These terms have a confusing meaning in the Indian context ,but historically "Right" has broadly come to be associated with conservative parties while "Left" with socialist parties.
Conservatism is a political and social philosophy promoting traditional social institutions in the context of culture and civilization. The central tenets of conservatism include tradition, human imperfection, organic society, hierarchy and authority, and property rights.
Socialism on the other hand is a range of economic and social systems characterised by social ownership and workers' self management of the means of production as well as the political theories and movements associated with them. But don't let these words and definitions fancy your thinking.
The above words have a very different relevance in the Indian context. To simplify the above words in Indian context let's look at the picture below.
And this is how the Indian media labels the various political parties based on the right-wing and left-wing political perspectives.
I'm not going to explain much on the above picture as it's self explanatory. More can be talked about the right-wing and the left-wing ideologies using INC and BJP as examples but let's keep that for another time.
Till then sayonara!!!!!

THE INDIAN POLITICS - MADE SIMPLER

So, hello patriots this my first blog on one of my real interests - POLITICS. I’m Sanjeev by the way and I’m 20 Years old. But why am I telling you this? I'm telling this because one shouldn't be judged by their age and other being the main reason is that it doesn't even take a 20 year old to crack Indian RAAJNEETI. I mean politics is complicated , but even more complicated when you don't know the history ,the hidden agendas and most importantly the backgrounds of the political parties. Most of the people just go blazing guns on social media on their rival parties without knowing the background of their own party. The another reason why politics in India is complicated because of  the fake news prevailing in our societies. This is the important factor why the decision making of the people is hampered to such extent. People just don't have authenticity in their source of news. Just a few weeks ago whats app was forced to take actions against fake news as it was the major media for fake news to circulate. Another reason why politics in India is complicated is messiahfication(when people make leaders as their savior) . This is one of the dangers our society is facing people are made fool using this as a weakness. These are the fears which is manifested in people's minds by political parties. And this hampers the general decision making and rationale of the masses. So to understand the politics better one needs to be proactive , not follow fake news and have a background check of their own prefered political party. I will be back with another blog on politics and that time we will dwell deeper into the realm of politics.

Why even the learned people are easily getting manipulated by the fake news?

I’m writing after a long time. I was too lazy to write about anything in the past year or so. But this I was compelled to write thi...
